The Glen has not one, not two but THREE gorgeous marble mantels. There is one in the ballroom and one in each of the dining rooms. I have been trying to figure out what I wanted to do with them for the longest time. Unfortunately our budget does not allow us to add anymore flowers to it! I decided that since the cake table is in front of the ballroom mantel I would use that as my inspiration. I have gathered "cutting the cake" photos from my Mom & Dad, FI's Mom & Step-Dad, Dad and Step-Mom and our Grandparents. The dining room mantels will be spots to show off family photos of us growing up. One mantel will be dedicated to my family photos and the other to FI's family photos. I also scored some 50% off decorations at Crate & Barrel this week so I will be adding antique silver pillar holders, antique silver hurricane holders and antique silver swirl balls to the mantels. I just need to find some flameless candles for them! I also purchased some silver and pearl leaf garland to drap across each mantel.
