FI's Nana is super important to him. She was actually born in Italy and moved to RI when she was young. Her mother made her a beautiful handkerchief using the "lovers knot" stitch that she carried on her wedding day 53 years ago! Since then, Jon's Mom, aunts, sisters and cousins have all carried it around their bouquet. Now it's my turn! Nana is also letting me borrow her Cameo pin that her Mom bought for her as a young girl in Italy. It's from a small store in Florence. I am excited to have these family pieces in my wedding as my something old and borrowed!
