I want to surprise FI with something sweet and manly on the big day. His 3 favorite things in life are the Red Sox, the Bruins and the Patriots haha. I'd like to think that I top all of them! I have been watching Ace of Cakes forever and I'd love some crazy over the top groom's cake but I know it's not in the budget. Here are some inspiration pictures I have. I plan on meeting with a few bakers in the RI area but I just can't quite seem to get a concept down yet. Any ideas?
They all look awesome! My sister is getting a groom's cake made from a woman in framingham, she does cakes out of her house, so she is cheaper than most other places. She has blog called Sweet Results. I have a picture of the cake she did at my sister's bridal shower on my blog. I think she'll deliver, but not sure about to RI? Have you tried Sin Desserts? Jennifer's work looks amazing, but I don't know about pricing.
