After many many weeks of searching for a hotel room block, we finally have found one! We looked into many hotels in Downtown Newport but they were just way too expensive for our guests and required a 2 night stay. We also looked at the Bristol Harbor Inn but it was already booked for a wedding block. We then looked into several hotels in Middletown, RI which is just a brief 10 minutes from the Glen. We decided to go with the Holiday Inn Express in Middletown for many many reasons! It is impeccably clean on the inside and all of the rooms are large and come with microwaves and fridges. There is a pool, jacuzzi and free breakfast every morning. They have have suites, free wireless internet throughout the hotel and plasma TVs. There is a Chili's there as well so if anyone is hungry they can hop on down there! Something for everyone! I am super excited to have this checked off my list. Now I can focus on my save the dates!
